Anthony delivers irrigation and water management extension services using mobile apps like WhatsApp and Facebook for farmers to access information. With support from the European Union through the Organization of African Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) Research & Innovation Programme, the AIRTEA _TP 009 Digital Connectors for Farming Households Project implemented by the African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS), Uganda Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (UFAAS), and AgConnectors, identified nine 'Digital connectors' and trained them on building viable agricultural businesses and equipped them with digital tools to enhance sustainable engagement with farmers and bridge the wide extension-farmer gap.
